I'm Dana Ward and we want to fill you in on the latest happenings in Hollywood. If you've been plugged into the internet -- especially to all of the major social media sites -- you've probably noticed a ton of posts or RTs spreading around with #Kony2012 attached, and some top celebrities have gotten in on the action. In fact, Diddy, Kristen Bell, Rihanna, Zooey Deschanel, Perez Hilton and Nicole Richie were early adopters of the campaign, and they've definitely helped the Kony 2012 film go viral. The film, as produced by Invisible Children, wants us all to know the identity of Joseph Kony, the war criminal. The man is the leader of the hyper-violent Lord's Resistance Army that's been responsible for abducting a reported 66-thousand children in the nation of Uganda, forcing them to torture and kill for the LRA. So! again, the film wants us all to make Kony famous this year -- and it actually calls upon the most influential celebrities and politicians to increase awareness - so that the US government and other international governments decide to get involved, capture the LRA leader and bring him to justice.
